How artificial intelligence is changing corporate management

Who is already using AI in the company and for what?

Decision-makers in companies believe that the use of artificial intelligence (AI) will fundamentally change their tasks and the strategic direction of the company. This, at least, is the result of a survey of 1,150 managers from 13 countries (Study by Microsoft Germany).

Looking at our neighbor Germany, artificial intelligence is a major topic, especially for fast-growing companies:

  • 37.8 % of German companies with double-digit growth are already using artificial intelligence.
  • In contrast, according to the study, only 17.1 percent of slower-growing companies use artificial intelligence in their processes.

And how is artificial intelligence changing corporate management?

The majority of managers surveyed (58.3%) from high-growth companies also believe that artificial intelligence will change the way companies and employees are managed. And above all, employee management will become more human. On the one hand, this may mean working towards more motivation and inspiration among their employees thanks to the time they gain through artificial intelligence. And on the other hand, topics such as Gender equality and cultural diversity are becoming increasingly important in global, socio-political discourse - and consequently these issues also play a significant role in the world of work.
